    We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised electronics business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £11.44 per hour depending on experience. The role of Purchasing Clerk is based in Ipswich.

    Shifts for Purchasing Clerk:

    • 07.30am till 16.00pm
    • Monday - Friday

    Pay:

    • £11.44 per hour
    • Paid weekly
    • Increasing to £26,000pa on completion of probationary period

    Main Duties of Purchasing Clerk:

    • Buying parts and updating the computer ordering system
    • Checking stock levels are appropriate for manufacturing volumes
    • Data entry
    • Liaising with customers and suppliers on the phone and by email
    • Updating and creating Bills of Materials and Purchase orders

    Good IT skills are essential, and some knowledge of electrical components would be advantageous, but not essential.
