Mitcham - 100% office based

Full time, Permanent

£50,000 to £54,000 per annum
Are you a competent qualified Financial Accountant, with experience in delivering statutory financial statements and the annual audit process?

I am working with a reputable, well established commercial business based in Mitcham, looking to recruit to join their experienced finance team.

You will be involved in the day-to-day running of accounts and making observations of the financial state of the organisation, working alongside the Management Accountant, reporting into Senior Management.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Preparing monthend, quarterly and yearend reports
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Preparation for all indirect and direct tax compliance and reporting
Monitoring and reporting on accounting inconsistencies
Producing and disseminating monthly reports on consolidated accruals, prepayments, retention's, and debtors for the business
Providing external auditors with general ledger information during interim and final audits
Supporting monthly accounts and report generation
Utilising reconciliation management to provide profit and loss insights
Reconciling balance sheet and weekly cash management

Experience in reporting under UKGAAP (FRS102) is required, along with a strong knowledge of VAT and audit.
