About the role:

We are a fast paced growing business, and as such we are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative.

Working in support of the Warehouse Supervisory team, you will be responsible for and cross-trained in the below areas of responsibility.

Warehouse duties:

Dispatch, pallet wrapping and loading of trucks / containers
Goods in, receiving and unloading. Including the manual unloading of boxes from containers
Picking main warehouse or MEZZ floor (small bin picking) areas
Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping activity as required, which may include overtime and weekend work

General abilities required for day to day operations:

Ability to drive the 3 types of forklifts (if unqualified in-house training will be provided)
Ability to use all handling aids as required electric and manual
Ability to move and or rearrange stock (assorted boxes size and weight) by either manual handling or lifting equipment
Ability to operate and pick from airport ladders
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
Adherence to strict timelines especially picking / goods in priorities
Ability to communicate verbally and written with internal and external agencies
Ability to work as part of a team or as a solo operative
Ability to problem solve any immediate picking, putaway, goods in or dispatch issues
Ensure effective housekeeping measures are maintained
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures throughout the warehouse
