- Significant post-registration experience in all aspects of hospital pharmacy
- Training and/or significant experience in clinical teaching / tutoring, audit, practice research, risk management

- Broad knowledge of therapeutics

- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the formulation, preparation, and therapeutic action of medicines
- MPharm or equivalent
- Registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience
- Independent Prescribing qualification
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain
- Leadership / Management qualification
- Working towards Faculty Accreditationi
- Demonstrate continued professional development or equivalent knowledge through extensive experience

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic pharmacist to join our friendly team. You will be supported by a team of experienced clinicians who value your input and contribution to patient care.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about maintaining high standards of patient care, have strong team work ethics and a sense of accountability. Being committed to innovation and research, your quality improvement skills will be a key attribute, along with a proven ability to lead and manage change. You will supervise and teach others as part of your role.
Please note this post is subject to a probationary period of six months.
Main duties of the job
We provide acute services to patients from across the City of Bradford and surrounding areas from our two large hospitals and three intermediate care sites. Being one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Integrated Care System (ICS) we provide all main specialties.
We have good links with local education and training providers and have a strong research focus. The Bradford Institute for Health Research and The Wolfson Centre for Applied Health Research is based on the Bradford Royal Infirmary site.
The role will involve working an average of hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota.
