£49,000-£50,000 per year
We are seeking a Daily Housekeeper to join our long-standing client in their Knightsbridge home.

The house is 5,000 sq. feet and it has 7 floors, 5 bedrooms, and no lift.

The Principals live half the year in London, and half the year in the US, so flexibility is expected when the family are in residency.

When the family are away, you will have shorter days.

In this role, you will work alongside two other daily housekeepers that work Monday-Saturday with shifts being 9am-6pm. Your rota will be worked alongside these two to ensure you have a day off, alongside the Sunday.

Main responsibilities:

Looking after the two Principals
Assisting the maternity nurse (from February 2024) with her needs (e.g. cleaning, laundry of baby clothes and beds, supporting her in the household, etc.)
Daytoday care for the Principals/guests
House duties: laundry, ironing, deep cleaning of bathrooms/rest of home, vacuuming, making beds, stemming clothes, packing/unpacking, dishwashing
Making sure there are no expired items in the fridge/liaising with contractors/handymen, etc. (directed by Head Housekeeper), making sure each floor of the home has all of the items required (e.g. water/cleaning supplies/fresh towels, etc.)
Reporting any damages seen in the home or on clothes/towels/sheets/broken glasses, etc. to the Head Housekeeper
Taking out the rubbish and recycling, make sure the house is spotless (dusting/mopping)
Respecting to use mostly natural cleaning products in the home (unless asked otherwise), bringing up, serving tea/food when asked
Receive packages and keep an eye on the house when we are away to make sure it stays in a proper condition
Simple cooking needed to make breakfast/light lunches/simple dinners (12 dishes) the female Principal would help with this
