    Our client is a long-established, Small Animal Veterinary Group based near Woking.

    As a progressive practice, they have recently relocated to their brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, which has Silver Cat-Friendly status and continue to invest to refurbish and their equipment at their 2 practices to the same high standard.

    They have a purpose-built grooming salon at the main site.

    One of the most important things to the team is their history and local "Village Vet" reputation for providing the highest level of service and value for all clients.

    The 7 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and experienced Receptionists across the Group.

    There is a family-like culture in practice and have embedded a true support and encourage ethos amongst the team.

    The mental and physical well-being of the team is paramount to the client - they like to show their support both in-house and externally by taking part in charity events such as "Ride for Dementia" and "Relay for Life" in aid of cancer research.

    This is a Full or Part Time position.

    The full-time role would be Monday – Friday, the earliest start is 8am and the latest finish is 7.30pm, (with normally 1 and no more than 2 late finishes a week).

    Saturdays are 1 in 4, 8am-4pm with a Friday off the following weekend.

    Part time would ideally be between 16 and 24 hours a week, ideally working full 8-hour days, but still with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

    You will work a varied working day for the nursing team, day duties depend on the shift but include anaesthetic monitoring, care of inpatients, nurse consultations, assisting reception, drug dispensing, lab work, and maintaining a sterile work environment.

    The role will allow for great clinical exposure and the opportunity to work amongst a friendly and supportive team. Salary is up to £31,000 per annum depending on experience + £1.5k relocation allowance. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking confident team player who has great communication and organisational skills.

    You will be able to use your own initiative and be happy to delegate where required, but also muck in with the team.

    Due to the demands of the role, you must have previous experience.
