    Camp Manager at Ultimate Holiday Camps - Fulham Cross Girls School, Fulham

    • Title: Camp Manager
    • Reporting to: Head of Operations
    • Contract: Seasonal role during school holidays
    • Hours: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm on weekdays. Full or part-time positions available

    Overview

    As the Camp Manager, you play a crucial role in delivering our diverse holiday childcare programs while prioritizing the safety and well-being of all camp attendees. We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to help us uphold our mission of 'Inspiring Children Every Day'.

    You will oversee a team, ensuring they create engaging camps that emphasize participation, structure, care, and growth. Your responsibilities include implementing and enforcing all camp policies, communicating with parents and school officials, and maintaining the high standards set by Ultimate Activity Camps.

    The Camp Manager role is demanding yet highly fulfilling, as the satisfaction of parents and children hinges on your performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Directly manage your team to deliver top-quality care and activities
    • Inspire and motivate staff with your energy and enthusiasm
    • Ensure strict adherence to all camp policies and procedures, including safety protocols
    • Lead staff induction before camp commences
    • Collaborate with Early Years Leader to meet all regulatory requirements
    • Keep Head Office informed and address any issues promptly
    • Serve as the main contact for parents and the Host School
    • Handle all administrative tasks, including registrations and schedule changes
    • Coordinate with other specialist program teams for smooth camp operations
    • Tackle any challenges that arise in a dynamic camp environment
    • Prioritize child welfare and provide high-quality childcare to meet individual needs
    • Exemplify the camp's mission and company values throughout your tenure
    • Display professionalism and enthusiasm as a role model for campers and staff

    Minimum Requirements

    • Qualified or pursuing a qualification in childcare, teaching, or coaching with substantial hands-on experience
    • Natural leader with previous management experience in childcare or teaching
    • Excellent communication skills and confident in engaging with parents and school staff
    • Familiarity with camp activities and willingness to step in when needed
    • Strong decision-making abilities and proactive nature
    • Seeking a challenging yet rewarding role to advance in childcare, teaching, or coaching

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Current Paediatric First Aid certification (12-hour or 6-hour)
