    Description
    Assistant Camp Manager - Summer Camp - Streatham, London
    Hours of Work: 08:30-18:00, Monday-Friday (Maximum 45 hours per week)
    Salary Range: £549.70 - £640.48 per week based on age, experience, qualifications, and camp size
    Reporting to: Camp Manager, Area Manager, and Central Office
    Responsibilities of Assistant Camp Manager:
    • Conduct Induction Training and oversee Camp Set-Up
    • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
    • Manage paperwork and high-risk activities
    • Communicate daily/weekly with Area Managers and Central Office
    • Support Camp Manager with various tasks
    • Supervise Camp Administrator and allocate tasks
    • Assist staff during sessions
    • Interact with parents and guardians
    • Evaluate staff performance
    • Keep site and equipment organized
    • Coordinate end-of-season staff evaluations
    Requirements:
    • Participate in mandatory Senior Training events
    • Experience in childcare or holiday camp settings
    • Eligibility to work in the UK
    • Enhanced DBS check required
    • Provide professional/academic references
    • Complete necessary training and inductions
    • Assist with camp pack-up
    • Ensure staff are trained in Paediatric First Aid
    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Adhere to Health and Safety protocols
    • Address safety concerns proactively
    • Conduct staff evaluations
    • Report Child Protection issues
    • Manage children's special needs
    • Administer medication as required
    • Be prepared for swimming sessions
    • Perform varied tasks as needed by the organization
