About the role:_


I am currently looking for an experienced, committed SEN Early Years Practitioner to join a wonderful team in a local primary school in BS7, Bristol.

You will be working full time Mon

  • Friday 8:30 3:15pm, in the Early Years Provision at the school.


You will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to children with special educational needs in our early years setting.


Key responsibilities:

  • Providing a safe and stimulating learning environment for children with special educational needs
  • Working closely with parents provide care and support.
  • Working closely with the Early Years Teacher & other room staff.
  • Supporting children with a range of needs, including physical, emotional, and cognitive needs
  • Monitoring progress and making adjustments to support plans as necessary
  • Reporting the progress back to the child's parents & also the Teacher.

What the Primary School is looking for:_

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary:
£65.00-£80.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bristol, BS7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
