\This role will be mostly laboratory based, with an emphasis on data management, report writing and maintaining a well organised workplace. The role will also provide support to the wider Operations team and other areas of the business on an ad-hoc basis.
The Senior Instrument Technician will ensure our cutting-edge technology and instruments operate correctly and to designed specifications.
Full training will be provided but it is expected that the right individual will bring with them a good knowledge of trouble shooting and repair procedures and have some experience working with electronic, electro-mechanical and/or laboratory instrumentation.
The Senior Instrument Technician will report to the Senior Engineer and support the Quality team, as well as help with ad hoc tasks within the Operations group.
A structured approach to their work is important, as is excellent adherence to procedures, high quality standards and Health & Safety.

The role of the Senior Instrument Technical is varied and as part of a rapidly growing company there is scope for learning and progression within the business.
Working to high quality standards and follow SOPs.
Producing data analysis on variation between results and producing hypothesis.
Provide ad-hoc support to a variety of engineering and lab based teams as required.
Minimum A level education within an Engineering discipline.
Experience identifying faults and repairing electrical and electronic instrumentation would be an advantage.
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.
