This role will be mostly laboratory based, with an emphasis on data management, report writing and maintaining a well organised workplace.
The role will also provide support to the wider Operations team and other areas of the business on an ad-hoc basis.
The Senior Instrument Technician will ensure our cutting-edge technology and instruments operate correctly and to designed specifications.Full training will be provided but it is expected that the right individual will bring with them a good knowledge of trouble shooting and repair procedures and have some experience working with electronic, electro-mechanical and/or laboratory instrumentation.
The Senior Instrument Technician will report to the Senior Engineer and support the Quality team, as well as help with ad hoc tasks within the Operations group.
A structured approach to their work is important, as is excellent adherence to procedures, high quality standards and Health & Safety.

The role of the Senior Instrument Technical is varied and as part of a rapidly growing company there is scope for learning and progression within the business.
Performing standard QC tasks within the test lab, developing into a subject matter expert.Working to high quality standards and follow SOPs.
Producing data analysis on variation between results and producing hypothesis.
Provide ad-hoc support to a variety of engineering and lab based teams as required.
Minimum A level education within an Engineering discipline.
~Experience identifying faults and repairing electrical and electronic instrumentation would be an advantage.
~ Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.
