Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for a
Scheduler to work on our
Cadent CMO contract, working at our Romford depot to support the delivery of both Mains Replacement and Non Unit Cost programmes of work.


As a Scheduler you will be a key part of our Programme team who are responsible for the creating of the area annual baseline programme for mains replacement, reinforcement works, and client driven works as required.


Morrison Energy Services is a working in partnership with Cadent Gas on a 5 year contract to deliver the Network Mains Replacement Programme and other related investment projects in North London.


As a Scheduler you duties and responsibilities will be:

  • To control the receipt of approved projects within the area and ensure they are accurately recorded in the appropriate systems
  • To prepare programmes of work for each Highway Authority/Stakeholder and attend coordination and weekly planning meetings. Build and maintain relationships with all Highway Authorities in the area, particularly the permit office.
  • Update actual progress on a weekly basis, at PON level within Microsoft Project
  • To reschedule the programme as required
  • Assist with the creation of daily/weekly team/project whereabouts
  • Raise and manage minor, standard and major permits. Ensure compliance with NRSWA via efficient management of starts, stops and S74's jeopardy.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:


  • Experience in programme planning and management
  • Able to demonstrate experience of programme/project planning tools and techniques
  • Good organisation and planning skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Project is desirable.
  • Effective communication skills are required and the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently alone and as part of a team
  • Meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy of data
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel
