A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Day Shift Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Basildon


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assess workloads and efficiently delegate tasks to staff to achieve completion
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment e.g. counterbalance and reach forklifts, ensuring the safety of staff
  • Prioritize staff resources to assist with and complete tasks according to workload
  • Stock integrity.
  • Fulfil good working practice (GWP) in and around the working environment.
  • Maintain working environment in safe and tidy manner.
  • Identify, fulfil and review training and development needs and assisting with the departmental continuous development plans.
  • Additional task and responsibilities will be required within reason to support the needs and requirements of the business.

Requirements:


  • Experience working in a similar role
  • WMS experience, computer literate
  • Working in a fast peace environment
  • Excellent understanding of the Warehouse Policies and Procedures
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Excellent communication skills

Hours:


  • Alternating weekly
  • Monday to Friday
  • 6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm
  • Flexibility to work at weekends when required
