Role Description


The NPI Technologist will manage product launches in line with project key milestones and will report to the NPI Manager.


  • Support daytoday projects, development, feasibility, upscale and production trials
  • Efficiently manage and upscale products from bench to full scale production within customer policy guidelines and adhere to their quality, safety and legal requirements
  • Ensure that products and materials introduced to site are in line with site strategy, within site capabilities and are costed accordingly
  • Support RD&A function projects in the Meat and Meat Free function
  • Completion of trial reports and documentation and share key learnings
  • Supports cross functional working between site & commercial teams to deliver Innovation & Renovation projects.
  • Packaging and artwork sign off
  • Flexibility to travel for product trials and launch completion

Skills and Experience


As NPI Technologist you are required to have a minimum of 3 years' experience working within the food industry, relevant qualifications in NPI, NPD, process, technical or related discipline and sound project management skills.

You will have excellent written and spoken English with good presentation skills. You will have a full drivers license and have the ability to travel.

You will be flexible and available to work when required, this may be across days / evenings / night shift.
