Work collaboratively, establish and maintain close working relationships with R&D data scientists and NCS biological scientists generating data as part of a cross-functional team, contribute to the experimental design based on the objectives set for the study, and support customised data visualisation and analysis solutions.

Translate informatics solutions into business-oriented biomedical understanding, to ultimately support decision-making endpoints in drug discovery and development processes.
Execute and optimise analytic algorithms and data flow at scale, employing GSK's computing infrastructure.
Produce high quality written documentation of methodologies applied (e.g. protocol contributions, scope of work), analysis results and interpretation for internal decision making purposes and inclusion in regulatory submissions as required.
PhD relevant in Computational Biology (e.g., ADME, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Mathematics, Bioinformatics). Proven mathematical expertise in one or more aspects relevant to non-clinical safety / toxicology is desirable
Experience in analysing multi-dimensional data sets including flow cytometry and cellular imaging studies
Experience in applying bioinformatics approaches to analyse and integrate 'omics data to enhance understanding of biological processes
Expertise in scientific computing and programming – such as R, Python
