Join our team now working as an Apprentice Multi-Trade Operative.This apprenticeship requires you to apply through the employer's website.
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.Level 2 (GCSE)
Being an apprentice at Ian Williams means real "hands on" work on real jobs.
You will get the opportunity to put your new skills into practice, while supported by the expert guidance of our experienced tradespeople - your own mentor.
The specific type of work will vary contract to contract, most contracts will be based in social housing. Mixing different types of plasterApplying plaster to walls and ceilings so that they are ready for decorating
Carry out minor repairs or modifications to plaster work
Prepare the workspace including setting out the work and the selection of materials and tools appropriate to the project
The training you will be getting
Attend college to understand "the how and the why" of your chosen trade (usually 1 day a week)
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Following successful completion of your apprenticeship you will be offered a role as a fully trained operative at Ian Williams.
