- Approve Engineering designs and provide specialist support for the Electrical elements within all projects.
- Working knowledge of Industry standards associated with the Electrical discipline.
- Develop ideas into projects and produce BOD (basis of design) work scopes.
- Attend external organisation meetings EEMUA, Energy Institute and IET and feedback any changes in legislation.
- Actively engage WITH SMEs and peers across the industry and the company network
- Ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical distribution network for the refinery.
- Maintain condition reviews for all Electrical infrastructure and equipment on site, interpret the data and produce ranking for input into the CAPEX replacement plan.
- Manipulate Electrical Infrastructure Modelling software.
- Provide specialist Electrical support to the refinery operations, maintenance and improvement teams when required.
- BSc/BEng degree in Electrical Engineering
- Have or be working towards incorporated or chartered engineer status with a relevant engineering institution.
- Experience working with voltages up to 132kv.
- Previous experience of working in an Electrical Engineering or Project Engineering role would be advantageous.
- Good organisational and communication skills working with and leading multi-functional teams both inside and outside of the refinery.
- Proficient in the MS suite of software and familiar with SAP functionality within the job role i.e purchase requisitions, SAP new equipment master management etc.
- 37.5 hours per week followed by a TDO fortnight
- 22 holidays plus bank holidays (holiday entitlement grows with years of service)
