Short Term Trading Intern

Here's what you'll be doing

Within our Short Term power and gas trading team we need to analyse a wealth of data to inform trading decisions.
This would entail comparing forecasted to actual wind generation in a detailed and granular way so that the trading team are best informed as to which forecasts perform best and in what circumstances.

What we need from you

Currently studying towards a degree (any level) in a numerate discipline
The skills and passion for using and analysing data to provide commercial insight
Curiosity and a desire to understand how and why things work
Comfortable working independently to set goals and objectives

Here's what else you need to know

Flexible working arrangement (anything between 10 and 37 hours a week)
Flexible contract length to fit your studies (with a minimum commitment of 2 months), with flexible start and end date

- £23,000 pro rata salary

Hybrid working model (with a minimum of 40% in our Coventry office)
Guidance and supervision as and when it's needed
To learn about an ever evolving and developing industry
Interviews will begin week commencing 18th March 2024
