Social Worker (Mainstream Fostering) | Grade 6
Join us as we embark on our journey to deliver Outstanding services to children and young people. The Fostering Recruitment & Assessment Team is responsible for recruiting and assessing mainstream families that want to foster children in our care in Lancashire. The Team now hosts our Private Fostering Team who are at the forefront of our drive to reshape this service area.
The Fostering Recruitment & Assessment Team is committed to " Make Every Memory Count " to ensure all children and young people are offered and receive the very best care and support. This is the time to be part of our fantastic Team because not only are we responsible for Lancashire fostered children we also support privately fostered children and young people including those coming from Ukraine under the national Homes for Ukraine scheme.
We are based in County Hall, Preston but are currently working flexibly. The successful candidate will be expected to travel throughout Lancashire therefore you must drive and have access to a car.
