- Creating and reviewing 3D drawings and 2D Models for fabrication and assembly
- Engaging in internal design review sessions
- Ensuring compliance with internal approval processes and checks
- Participating in pneumatic and hydraulic design tasks (training available for newcomers)
- Involvement in the complete project lifecycle from conceptualization to production
- Collaborating with Design Engineering and manufacturing units to enhance overall productivity
- Effectively managing and prioritizing personal workload to meet project deadlines
- Proficiency in developing 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing, fabrication & assembly
- Preferably, prior experience in the Oil & Gas sector or a related field dealing with fabricated products (e.g., Marine/Shipbuilding)
- Competency in AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Autodesk Inventor is a must
- Experience encompassing the entire engineering process, from concept design to actual production
- Ideally holding an HNC in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- Familiarity with weld symbols, drawing annotations, and bills of materials
- Background in drive systems and hydraulic/pneumatic operations, while not mandatory, is advantageous
- A thirst for learning and professional growth
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Renowned in the oil & gas sector for their top-notch production control systems and subsea assemblies catering to a global clientele, the company is currently on an expansion spree. They are on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Designer/Draughtsperson to become a key player in delivering some thrilling, high-impact projects within the Oil & Gas domain.
