Credit Controller - Our Team
Operating within our Finance Service Centre in Leeds is a sizable team comprising Credit Control, Accounts Payable, Database & Billing, Cashiers, and Business Intake. This team offers centralized support to all UK offices and ensures the delivery of top-notch service to both internal and external clients of the firm. Credit Controllers report to the Credit Control Manager.
Credit Controller - Our Opportunity
As a Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include managing your own ledger, meeting targets, and aligning with the team's KPIs and reporting standards. In return, you can expect an enticing compensation package along with a range of desirable benefits.
You will need to achieve targets, meet team KPIs and reporting metrics, while also assisting Partners and Fee Earners in maintaining ongoing client relations, timely cash collections, and exposure management.
Furthermore, the team oversees the credit collection processes, liaising with the firm's Head of Inventory / Asset Control and offering report information or support to other senior members of the finance team or the business.
This role demands professionalism and courtesy at all times, even in challenging situations.
Occasional travel to all UK locations may be necessary.
Credit Controller - You
We are looking for individuals with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services setting. An understanding of debt recovery, VAT, and its practical implications is essential.
Proficiency in IT, familiarity with desktop and Microsoft packages (Word and Excel), and exposure to credit control systems are required.
