The University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) is looking to recruit a proactive, motivated, and enthusiastic Careers Advisor to support our Postgraduate students to achieve their career ambitions.

Reporting to the Employability Team Leader, the you will contribute significantly to the delivery of careers advice and guidance, whilst supporting the School to meet its wider objectives through the implementation of the Schools Employability Strategy.


You will join an established and committed team with a focus on supporting international students, so an awareness and acceptance of diverse cultures alongside a sound knowledge of labour market information and the graduate recruitment process would be valued.

You should have a degree or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience.


You will be responsible for supporting students with career progression by means of regular one to one appointments, whilst devising and delivering a range of focussed extra-curricular employability events and curriculum specific activity.

Additionally, you will be accomplished in generating bespoke careers and employability resources with the digital skills necessary to create and deliver online learning materials suitable for Postgraduate students.


You will be asked to work towards challenging shared objectives and will be able to demonstrate the capacity to collaborate efficiently with colleagues and other key stakeholders.

You will have a proven track record of delivering exemplary careers and employability support in a Higher Education setting.
