Material Controller | Aberdeen | Full Time | £30,000 - £35,000 PA
We have been designing and manufacturing innovative hydraulic solutions since the 1950s.

These solutions are specifically developed for the needs of a variety of distinctive industry sectors, including oil and gas, subsea and barrel working machinery.

Are you the right person for the job?

No formal qualification is required
5 years experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Familiar with computerised stock control and purchasing systems
Good planning skills with a forwardthinking outlook

What will your role look like?

Preparing goods receipts and booking received goods into a computerised stock control system
Maintaining proper identification of all materials handled
Allocating materials to jobs from BOM lists and kitting parts for the workshop
Allocating spare parts to customer orders and booking out
Making up spare kits for SCH service engineers
Maintenance of the store areas and keeping them orderly and tidy
Purchasing for stock replacement of materials, boughtin parts and subcontractor operations
Use best practices when procuring goods or services
Producing and responding to weekly reports such as but not limited to outstanding/overdue purchase orders and stock below min level
Carry out regular store reviews and stock checks for condition and quantity of stock and report on same
Ensuring the company's computerized stock control system is accurately maintained and kept up to date
At all times you must ensure adequate records are maintained, and goods are correctly identified, in compliance with the company's ISO9001 quality system
Carry out annual stock take
