The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Perini Operator to work in Blackburn

This is a Full-time permanent position on Days and Nights

The Operator will be responsible to set up and operate equipment that performs paper converting functions such as rewinders, packaging machines, bundlers and ancillary equipment

Responsibilities:

Operate and ensure that the machine is running at optimum level.
Produce and package products according to specifications.
Follow all safety procedures.
Perform quality checks to monitor physical characteristics of product and take corrective action as needed
Perform setups and changeovers as needed.
Make machine adjustments using basic hand tools.
Report on production information including downtime and other completing production shift reports accurately.
Comply with direction from managers.
Monitor equipment, perform resets, replenish, and troubleshoot assigned area of the line as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist with machine cleanups as required.
Production experience using a Perini / Gambini machine
A hard working, driven individual
Able to use initiative
A team player
Excellent work attendance
Strong attention to detail
Ability to control machine control panels to operate machines.
Physical ability to stand, bend and twist for up to 8 hours per day
