- Permanent position for prestige vehicle dealership
- £2,000 signing on bonus
- Monday - Friday
- Level 3 or higher in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair
- JLR, BMW or VAG experience preferrable.
- As an MOT Tester Manager, you will report to the Workshop Manager/Controller and will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests and ensuring the correct and safe operation of the MOT testing lane, whilst supervising the day-to-day duties of the Testers.
- Carry out MOT tests on a permanent daily basis.
- Communicate with the Workshop Controller regarding test Results and additional work necessary.
- Highlight to senior management any potential problems with the MOT testers/test lane.
- Carry out minor repairs to vehicles.
- Ensure quality inspection controls are carried out for all on site MOT testers.
- Maintain thorough and up to date product knowledge.
- Manage the test lane including up to date equipment calibration is carried out.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of paperwork.
- Any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
- NVQ in motor vehicle technology or equivalent
- A valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience in a professional workshop environment in a supervisory role
