6 Month FTC - Finance Business Partner - Media Network - £70-75,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the Real Estate team within one of the largest Media networks.

You'll take responsibility for a region and help drive process improvement and streamline all payments and management reporting.

You'll report to the Corporate Financial Controller and be responsible for the following:

Act as the direct liaison between the Regional Managers and offshore accounting team to ensure property costs are being recorded correctly, variances to budget are understood, and invoices are paid on time
Preparation of monthly management accounts and submission of month end actuals results within the agreed timescales
Balance sheet management and review of reconciliations performed by the offshore accounting team ensuring everything is prepared in line with Group Policies
Advise senior management in UK on any risks highlighted through the preparation of the monthly management accounts
Preparation of budgets and forecasts and providing in depth analysis on a property level for reporting to senior management in the UK and US
Monthly review of actual performance versus budget on a property level and providing meaningful commentary explaining variances
Coordinating vendor payment runs
Ensure that all expenditure is correctly authorised and kept in line with company policy
Review and posting of journals prepared by the offshore accounting team
Ensuring that intercompany balances are aligned, and variances are investigated in a timely manner
Assist with transition projects and support establishing Real Estate within those countries
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance testing on a quarterly basis
Support preparation of interiM/Final statutory accounts as required
