Private Sector Housing Team Leader

Salary:
£42,159 - £45,202

Lead and develop Private Sector Housing in the Sevenoaks District
Our team seeks to develop improvements within private sector housing.

With your experience, you'll bring initiative and leadership to the team to oversee all operational activities from enforcement action to the administration of grants.


You'll provide advice and guidance to internal staff, Members and our Partners ensuring that legislation is met, and that contracts & grants develop and flourish.

With your experience of grants, you'll be comfortable managing budgets as well as makingrecommendations for financial expenditure and ensuring that all aspects of evaluation and monitoring are carried out.


You'll have the opportunity to develop your strategic approach by assisting with the Housing Strategy and Empty Homes Strategy to ensure the customer remains at the focus of our work.

Energy efficiency will also be a key focus for you as you look to maximisethis in housing stock by promoting the scheme and securing all available funding.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG.


We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
