    Description

    Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced *Healthcare Assistant* to support _a 29-year-old male with Motor Neurons Disease, OCD, and Fluctuating moods.

    He lives with his partner and 8-week-old baby.

    He likes football, going out to the park with his children, going out for meals, and getting his hair cut.

    The ideal candidate would be a resilient, seasoned carer with a solid understanding of personal care, and experience with moving and handling.

    You will need to have patience, be willing to learn, and have good personal hygiene. You will need to possess good English communication skills, be able to listen and understand moods and body language.
    *It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. *Training is paid for.

    • 80 p/hr Monday – Thursday £05 p/hr Saturday - Sunday £05 p/hr Bank HolidaysShifts: 8pm – 8am, 2-3 Shifts Per Week Available
    • It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. While there are lots of work opportunities within Ocean Healthcare, the terms detailed in this job advert are specific ONLY to this package of care. Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.

    You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
