As Lead Facilities Planner you'll lead the creation of programme plans to deliver of Logistics Engineering projects that support our exciting £15bn portfolio of future vehicles.
Acting as a guide for the programme manager you will assure agile, on-time, delivery and help the team proactively navigate timing risks using our professional scheduling tool Primavera P6.
Responsibilities include developing robust programme plans, alignment of key stakeholders, updating schedule progress, analysing and reporting on the critical path, and facilitating workshops to resolve timing disconnects.
Which in turn, will foster an environment of Growth & Unity, with an aim to deliver projects, on time, to cost & on quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead creation and management of integrated programme plans using Primavera P
- Ensure credible delivery schedule in place; meeting quality metrics and baselined as appropriate.
- Liaise with the programme and delivery teams to monitor and drive schedule progress.
- Identify areas of risk and conflict within the plans and facilitate identification of mitigations.
- Compile management reports and associated metrics to support senior reviews.
- Provide planning guidance, advice, and coaching to the programme teams.
- Drive process improvements and seek to develop and share knowledge with peers.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience in the use of schedule management software (e.g. Primavera P6 or MS Project).
- A planning mindset; including understanding the principles of schedule creation, management, and critical path analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to enable you to identify, navigate, and help resolve any issues in the plan.
- A good communicator who can articulate complex ideas (verbally or through presentation)
