We are looking to recruit an
Early Intervention Worker to join our Homelessness Services team at Founders' House.

Commissioned by Tower Hamlets Council, Founders' House provides residential supported accommodation for up to 123 adult males who are experiencing homelessness.

The Early Intervention post is an organic and inspirational role that has been developed to enhance engagement from the referral point into the service with the aim of ensuring that a new resident feels safe and familiar in their new home.

This scheme aims to safeguard a person's wellbeing from the point of referral to the allocation of a keyworker and beyond.

It is hoped throughout this period that the resident feels a sense of comfort, feels socially accepted, has a sense of dignity and belonging within the centre immediately.

Essentially the Early Intervention Worker will improve the resident induction experience into the centre and to provide an initial point of contact.

This will inevitably help to prevent potential feelings of isolation during the settling in phase, or further down the line.

In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.
**_ Promoting equality in the workplace and as a disability confident scheme employer, we guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy._
