    JobDescription:

    AUDIOLOGISTBAND 6:

    • Assisting inthe day to day running of the Audiology Service to ensure ENTclinics outreach clinics and hearing aid clinics operateeffectively with good clinicaloutcomes;
    • Responsibility for the provision ofthe Tinnitus Management service in conjunction with the AudiologyService Manager and ensuring national guidelines are adheredto;
    • Working independently providing aspecialist diagnostic and rehabilitative service for patients withtinnitus including adults andchildren;
    • Responsibility for management of ownpatients formulating and delivering care plans for both adults andthe paediatric population;
    • Fitting Hearing Aidsto adults and children including rehabilitation and support to thepatient/carers and their families;
    • Fittingspecialist devices to assist patients to manage their tinnituswhere appropriate;
    • To be competent in hearingaid verification to maintain best outcomes for the patient groupincluding speech testingmethods.
