Job summary
We are looking for an outstanding, forward thinking consultant to join our team and help continue to lead our service towards excellence.
This is a position required to support the Radiology service at the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) and have a specialist interest in Nuclear Medicine. The successful candidate should hold an ARSAC licence or be working towards accreditation.
The post holder will be based primarily at the Princess Alexandra hospital in Harlow and will also spend two sessions a week at Mount Vernon Hospital, Rickmansworth, reporting PET CT examinations. They may also be asked to work at any of the other 2 sites that make up the Trust, St. Margaret's in Epping and Herts and Essex in Bishops Stortford.
The individual appointed will take part in multidisciplinary meetings and participate in teaching Radiology Registrars. The post holder will have a shared desk in a shared office with other Consultant Radiologists, including access to a PC with internet connection (an option to home report) and a shared secretary.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop's Stortford, and St Margaret's Hospital in Epping.
We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop's Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
