Hours: 15 hours per week, 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary:

KIMS Hospital, Maidstone has a rare and exciting opportunity for a Clinical Coding Assistant to join our busy Finance Team working 15 hours per week on a 12-month fixed term contract.

You will be required to effectively manage the PHIN coding function across the hospital ensuring collation of quality data.

Role Responsibilities include:

Assist Clinical Coding Manager in ensuring that all Private Patient Clinical Coding Data is accurately entered onto Compucare.
You will be required to utilise some clinical coding knowledge to ensure accuracy (ie Therapeutic Vs Diagnostic procedures)

Person Specification:

Some knowledge of the ICD10 and OPCS4 classifications is essential
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to respond to multiple priorities
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
