Our client is a very successful company based in Wokingham and they are looking for a Finance Business Partner to come and join the team in this newly created post.

This Finance Business Partner will be reporting to the Services Manager and is responsible for managing and reporting all of the data and financial information associated with the Energy Services business across all processes and platforms.


Our fantastic client is looking for an organised, clear communicator who is a team player and is someone that is able to explain complex financial information clearly.


Main responsibilities for the Finance BP

  • Responsible for the reconciliation, analysis, and validation of Energy Services data across various platforms.
  • Produce internal reporting to assist in daily and weekly performance management updates.
  • Key point of contact for any reportingrelated queries.
  • Design and develop spreadsheets/databases to hold sometimes complex data.
  • Work to automate reporting where possible and create dashboards that can be interrogated by different stakeholders to meet their needs.
  • Produce trend analysis and adhoc information requests as required.
  • Investigate general and financial data inconsistencies and ensure any risks are escalated.
  • Perform data audits as required.
  • Work with stakeholders across the Business to report trends and analyse Energy Services financial performance as required.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of key customer accounts liaise with external customers as necessary.
  • Report the Energy Services P&L and cashflow forecast into the Central Services Finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager
  • Management of the data suite relating to Energy Services.
  • Drive improvement and efficiency initiatives across processes, systems and reporting.
  • Developing strong working relationships within Energy Services and across the whole business at every

Experience required for the Finance BP

  • A finance background.
  • Excellent data volume skills including excel and pivot tables.
  • Systems savvy with experience of systems.
  • Excellent project management and problemsolving
  • High level of numeracy & attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and capable of working on own initiative, as an individual and part of the team.
  • A curious mindset, and desire to challenge/change for the better.
  • An ability to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
  • A desire for improvement, always looking at opportunities to improve processes or reporting where you can see them.
