IT Systems Administrator, Basic Salary circa £30K + Bonuses and Excellent Benefits Package


This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Administrator to work alongside the IT Manager to provide a full IT support service to a busy Communications Agency in its Manchester head office.


We are looking for someone professional to respond to IT incidents & queries, providing support to users in relation to hardware, software, on premise servers and cloud technologies.

**The role includes:
- **Developing and maintaining a comprehensive patching schedule to ensure servers and end user devices are protected against cyber attack.
Managing the agency's network infrastructure and systems, ensuring regular maintenance, development and ongoing availability.
Managing the backup infrastructure, ensuring data is stored securely and is accessible at all times.
Conduct regular testing of the replication host and data recovery solution as part of the disaster recovery plan.
Managing the vulnerabilities on the network as identified in the quarterly vulnerability scans and annual PEN test.
Assisting in the onboarding of new staff members, including account setup, device configuration and IT training.
Working with the team to ensure the agency is compliant with current IT legislation and best practice

Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
Experience of using Windows OS / Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, O365, Hyper-V and Veeam Backup and Replication
Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to think creatively and to demonstrate good judgement
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
