- Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns, providing a high level of engineering service to minimise downtime and ensure the smooth running of factory production.
- Undertaking planned maintenance work to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Working on various projects, such as commissioning new equipment and upgrading existing kit.
- Proactively looking for new and improved ways of working to drive performance and reliability.
- Shift Pattern – "7 Day Fortnight" – 12 hour shifts working 7 days out of 14 (2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights)
- An apprentice training Maintenance Engineer, with either an electrical or mechanical bias.
- Ideally from a food manufacturing background, but we're keen to hear from anybody with a few years' engineering maintenance experience who is looking for a new challenge.
- A team player, somebody who can work collaboratively and make a positive contribution to the wider team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop good working relationships with colleagues at all levels across the business
