Electrical Qualifying Supervisors are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in the North-West? If the answer is yes, then look no further. We have a role with one of our fantastic and employee focused clients that will be perfect for you.
The role will be hands on and working out of the office in Preston. You will need to have a wide-ranging experience in fixed wire testing, and be able to support our field based engineers with technical help. In depth knowledge of the Wiring Regulations and their associated Guidance Notes is an expected skill and will be necessary for this role.
·Site audits are part of the job role, so a driving licence is essential.
·The role is office based, with a working week of Monday to Friday.
·Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
·Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
·Ensure works are certified accurately and correctly.
·Manage teams of subcontractors to ensure work is carried out safely and to the required standards.
·Provide technical knowledge and problem-solving support.
·Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in electrical installations.
·Ensure safe working practices are adhered to.
·Manage compliance and registration with NICEIC.
·Liaise with clients and attend site meetings to ensure job progress aligns with requirements.
·Ordering of materials and obtaining supplier quotations.
You need to be qualified as a minimum to Level 3, with 18th edition and 2391 or approved equivalents. Previous experience being a QS in an NICEIC registered firm is essential.
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per year
