Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Python Engineer to join our esteemed Data Team.
As a Python Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing data-driven solutions that empower our trading strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming and extensive experience working on data projects.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Design and develop efficient data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources.
Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our datasets.
Optimize data storage and retrieval mechanisms for performance and reliability.
Work closely with quantitative analysts and traders to integrate data-driven insights into trading strategies.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our data infrastructure and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of Python experince
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Proficiency in working with large datasets and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks/libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Spark).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with distributed computing platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Kafka).
Familiarity with cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of financial markets and trading concepts.
Previous exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
