    Job overview

    We are looking for a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse for Shawford Ward based at our Winchester Hospital

    You will be willing to help lead our team to provide high quality, safe nursing care to respiratory patients working closely alongside the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure optimal care, utilising evidence based practice and treatment modalities.

    There will be a rotational rota in place for staff to work in the new Ambulatory clinic on Shawford Ward

    Main duties of the job

  • Enthusiasm, passion and a desire to provide excellent nursing care for our patients.
  • Experienced nurses with an interest in acute medicine, respiratory and end of life care.

  • Enhanced skills in Respiratory Care including the use of Non-Invasive Ventilation and looking after patients with alternative airways.

    Essential criteria

  • Professional UK registration e.g. NMC, HPC
  • Project managament experience
  • Formal training &/or experience in mentorship

  • Additional Post graduate learning in specialist field including masters degree or working towards
