Description

Our client supplies, installs and services a range of industrial Battery Chargers for use within industrial Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a nationwide team responsible for servicing Battery Chargers and their related Battery Packs at commercial/industrial locations.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- To organise & complete service visits according to manufacturer's recommendations.

To position, install and commission equipment at customer sites.

To repair equipment.

To advise Head Office of any sales opportunities identified during the course of duties.

To promote the company and act in a professional and diplomatic manner at all times.

To adhere to quality standards at all times.

Survey new and existing sites for installation purposes

Feedback quality issues to the office

Provide Technical Support to colleagues and customers as required.

Any of the following experience and qualifications would be beneficial although training will be given:

Electrical/Electronic fault finding

Electromechanical Installation e.g. BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regs

Understanding of SLA, NiCD and Plante batteries

Experience working with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), UKPN, National Grid or London Underground would be beneficial

UK Driving License and eligibility to work in UK are essential
