Solution Architect - UC & Network Security
Opportunity to join a sizeable, well-established and rapidly expanding Telecommunications Provider as a Solution Architect. The business provides IT services and solutions into Mid-Market, Enterprise scale businesses across voice, networks, connectivity,cloud and more.

You will focus primarily on UC Cloud Solutions (e.,g. 8x8 and Teams Online), as well as UC and PBX platforms (including hybrid solutions). In addition, a reasonable understanding of network infrastructure will be a requirement.

Working within a busy Pre-Sales team as a Unified Communications / Telephony focused Solution Architect you will work to support the sales process, supporting sales and professional services teams by identifying customer technical and business requirements,designing and documenting recommended value-focused solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

Acting as the Technical lead on RFP's and bid reviews
Promoting the benefits and values of technical design features, mapping technical designs into business outcomes
Support Sales and Account Management teams as a Technical Consultant
Meet prospective and existing customers, to determine business and technical requirements
Produce and present Technical Solutions and supporting documentation, both highlevel and lowlevel (Network Diagrams etc)
Effectively handover solutions and support delivery and operational teams
Support Product Management teams to provide input around product development

To be considered for this position you will require:

Demonstrable experience of previous Pre-Sales / Solutions Architecture
Strong examples of solution design and documentation surrounding Enterprise UC platforms (e.g. Skype for Business, Teams Online, Mitel MiVoice, BroadWorks)
UC integration with CRM systems
SIP/VoIP Gateways
Sales acumen and strong presenting experience
Systems and mobile management software (e.g. SCCM, Parallels, MobileIron or InTune)
Some knowledge and understanding of networking and network security; WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, WiFi, VPN, R&S Firewalling would be beneficial.
Understanding of Mitel technologies and associated voice technologies / apps would also be beneficial.

Location:
London (hybrid working)

The position will pay:
a basic salary of up to £80k + up to 10% bonus + benefits.
