    Description
    Our client is a bespoke housing developer, specialising in private and affordable housing projects across Scotland.

    They are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join their existing team, to manage a significant increase in workload.

    The ideal candidate will have a significant amount of experience in design within the private or affordable sector.


    Ideal Candidate Skillset:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience post qualification
    Minimum HNC in architectural technology, preferably HND or Degree qualified.
    Good knowledge of designing affordable homes for external clients
    A good knowledge of designing to Housing for Varying Needs standards
    An understanding of designing for Secure by Design.
    A good understanding of dealing with Scottish Building and Planning regulations
    A good understanding planning and building warrant applications and experience dealing with planners and Building Control.
    Must have good communication skills and a flexible working attitude.
    Must be able to work as part of a team as well on working on their own initiative.
    Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit, have knowledge design/delivery principles including BIM systems, and an understanding of the Construction Design Management Regulations (CDM)
    Good customer interface skills.
    A full UK Driving licence
