Salary:
London - ranging from £65,000 - £85,000

The Chief Data, Information & Intelligence Officer (CDIIO) is an Executive role at the forefront of transforming the FCA.

The future of the FCA will be driven by the data we collect, using it to make us smarter, more efficient, and quicker at finding and addressing harms to consumers and markets.

This role is a unique chance to help shape this change.


You will lead Jessica Rusu's Private Office and work with colleagues in her Directorate, and across the FCA, to put in place the structures and ways of working needed to progress the Directorate and move at pace to support the transformation of the FCA.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the Private Office, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively, Jessica is briefed on the right issues and can participate effectively in meetings, including ExCo, ERPC, EFDC and the FCA Board
  • Act as an advisor to Jessica, and work closely with the Directorate SLT and the Private Secretary community
  • Leading, managing and developing the Director's Office team to ensure they are stretched and performing to a high standard.
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships for the Directorate
  • you will need to build an effective network across the FCA and use this to help DTI business run smoothly, spotting and solving problems with colleagues at all levels of the business
  • Managing the co-ordination of Board and Committee related papers helping to ensure that papers from the Directorate are high quality and timely, and that DTI input is sought and reflected in papers from other areas
  • Oversee the effective operation of the Data and Technology SteerCo, working with the secretariat to ensure the meeting is efficient and effective
