    You will be responsible to and liaise closely with the Specimen Reception Manager and Blood Sciences Operational Managers, providing a high quality service that builds on the standards defined by UKAS.

    You will be expected to develop and maintain close working relationships with all grades of staff both scientific and medical to ensure the effective delivery of the service.

    Training & Qualifications
    NVQ 3 or relevant experience (2 years working in laboratory environment) in addition, supervisory skills either 1 year experience or NVQ 3 in management or equivalent
    Experience of using computer systems and/or Hospital IT systems
    Experience with HR management systems
    Evidence of ability to implement QC/QA protocols
    Awareness of quality management
