This engineering company provide a range of specialist machinery, robotics and parts for an excellent select client base.

With new facilities and operations in Milton Keynes they have great longevity of staff due to creating a great work atmosphere and culture.

Buyer Responsibilities & Duties

Proactive raising of all purchase orders correctly (including carriage, freight and all other charges) to reflect contractual obligations and to ensure full agreement with resulting purchase invoice.
Proactive raising of purchase orders for machine sales from Europe & Asia.
Control and reduction of stock by purchasing specifically for works orders and purchase request forms and utilising existing available stocks.
Responsibility for stock ordered and purchased from suppliers.
Ad hoc purchasing requirements day to day as necessary.
Obtaining best prices and quality from all suppliers.

The Successful Applicant:

Buyer experience and characteristics;

2 years + Purchasing/Buyer experience
Commenced or looking to commence your CIPS qualification
Engineering, manufacturing or industrially focused industry exposure
A good communicator and happy speaking with internal and external stakeholders
Great attention to detail
