As a
Warehouse Operative, this is what your day-to-day will look like and how your contribution will add value to our business, in addition to some extra relevant tasks as required:

Dealing with incoming deliveries (from suppliers)
Loading lorries for outgoing deliveries (to customers)
Picking orders
Cutting materials on our machinery
Moving stock across the warehouse
Liaising with warehouse management and couriers

We are looking for the following characteristics and skills from the
Warehouse Operative we employ.

Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
Committed to learn and progress within the branch
Able to work well as part of a team.
Happy to work in a warehouse environment.
Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre.

The following licence/certification/membership is required in order to work in the
Warehouse Operative role.

A first aider qualification (desirable)
A current, valid forklift, counterbalance or reach truck licence

The below items are
desirable, but not essential:

Good industry knowledge carpet & flooring
Knowledge of competitors
Good H&S awareness and safety consciousness
