    Metis is a rapidly growing Civil and Environmental Engineering Consultancy based in Richmond, London. We have a robust pipeline of exciting projects and an impressive client list that includes both the public and private sectors. We're actively seeking talented individuals like you to join our expanding team and play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for delivering extraordinary work.

    We are currently seeking a senior drainage engineer to assist with project delivery and project management. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer seeking to work in an energetic environment where they can have a tangible influence on the continued success of our business.

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

    You should have completed a relevant civil or environmental degree or masters level qualification with a minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent).

    • ABOUT YOU:
    • Energy and enthusiasm.
    • Technically excellent.
    • 5+ years' experience.
    • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    • Able to integrate into a team and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
    • Excellent written and spoken English.
    • Able to support the technical development of junior colleagues.
    • Able to deliver and technically review drainage projects at each design stage.
    • Experience in the design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
    • Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
    • Experience in InfoDrainage or similar software.

    The following attributes are desirable but not essential:

    • Experience in flood risk management.
    • Experience using Civil 3D.
    • Experience with GIS software.
    • Hydraulic Modelling.
    • Experience within a council

    SALARY AND PACKAGE:

    The salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications/experience. The package includes pension, eligibility for private medical cover, and flexible working at our offices in central Richmond, SW London. Professional institution membership will also be funded, as will the professional development you require to meet your objectives.
