We plant the seed that grows the future Here at the Willow Tree Federation in Lancaster we are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support the ethos of our school and the development of our children (aged from 2-11) across both schools: Appletree Nursery School and Willow Lane Primary School.


The Role:

As a teaching assistant, you will be working 27.5 hours per week, mainly in the primary school but you could be asked to work across both schools if needed.

You will be working with a range of children as a teaching assistant.

Essential Experience

  • Passion to deliver high quality support and exciting learning opportunities.
  • SEND experience.
  • A working understanding of child safeguarding.
  • Ability to develop relationships and communication with parents and carers
  • Experience of observations, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS
Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience working and caring for children across all phases.
  • A willingness to undertake relevant childcare qualifications in the future (preferred).
