We are looking for an Area Controller to work in our External Field team. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of a team of Field Workers responsible for the collection of data within retail stores across a designated area of the UK (South/South West Regions)
Flawless planning, proactive communication, quality and timeliness are essential to ensure the high level of client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- To take overall responsibility and ownership for operational excellence within own Area Controller area for External Field, his includes the completion of tasks ontime, correct and to budget. Support other Area Controllers with cover/buddying as required.
- Ensure efficient and effective management is in place to support all aspects of field work including product knowledge, process compliances, scheduling, documentation, prioritisation & the use of handheld technology.
- Manage all people management processes supervisory visits (may include overnight), appraisals, expenses, holiday approval and KPI tracking. Through practical leadership and guidance, recruit, motivate, train and retain fieldworkers to ensure exceptional quality and consistency of work throughout Field.
- Prioritise and delegate to ensure all tasks are completed on time and correct.
- Proactively identify initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Selfmotivated, accountable and committed with welldeveloped decision making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead, influence and motivate, has experience in remote people management.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, problem solving and delegation skills, consistently solutions focused.
- Strong team player fostering strong working relationships across teams and across departments.
- High quality of written and spoken English with excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel.
