Oxfam Helensburgh is currently looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers who are available to work in our shop and help make as much money as possible to support Oxfam's work tackling poverty in the UK and overseas.

We currently have vacancies for volunteer cashiers

Numerous shifts available that you can fit around other commitments
Our shop managers are there to ensure you receive full training so no previous retail experience is required.

Oxfam Helrnsburgh is full of friendly and diverse volunteers who generously give their own time to help our shop however they can.

If you'd like to gain retail experience, build and develop new skills, grow your confidence, and meet new people while making a difference, we'd love to hear from you

You don't need specific skills or qualifications to volunteer in an Oxfam Shop, however, working as a member of the customer service team the following are desirable:
enthusiasm for Oxfam's work
Honesty and reliability
Good communication skills
A friendly and approachable attitude
Ability to work in a team

We take the welfare of volunteers and everyone we work with very seriously.

All young and/or vulnerable volunteers will be supervised by a member of staff with a current PVG certificate and everyone has access to our whistleblowing and safeguarding teams.

We do not tolerate discrimination, bullying, abuse of power, or any sexual misconduct within the workplace.
This is an voluntary position, however we can cover travel and lunch expenses in line with Oxfam's policy.
